SOP Navigator
Answers "what's the procedure for…" from the current, effective SOP, quoted with its number and effective date, on a machine inside the plant.
The answer quotes the steps from the version in effect, with its number and the date it took effect
A question that matches a version withdrawn yesterday gets the current one, and a warning naming the change
Every SOP version kept, with the dates it took effect and was withdrawn
When the QA server is unreachable, the last approved copy answers, read-only
The whole demo as a video, with captions and chapters

1 of 5: The answer
The problem
A supervisor who follows a superseded SOP has created a deviation. Finding the current version in the document system takes long enough that people ask a colleague instead.
What it does
It keeps every SOP version with its effective and withdrawal dates.
It answers questions with the relevant steps quoted, plus the SOP number, version and effective date.
It warns when a question matches a withdrawn version.
It says when no SOP covers a question, and sends it to QA with one tap.
It shows QA which questions keep coming up, as a signal for training.
Try to break it
On the call we'll trigger these, live:
- Someone asks about a version withdrawn yesterday. The answer uses the current version and names the change.
- Two SOPs overlap. Both are shown and QA is asked to resolve it.
- The QA server is unreachable. The last approved copy answers, read-only, with a banner saying so.
Where it runs
A server inside the plant network, with no outbound connection.
Who else does something like this
Veeva Vault QualityDocs manages controlled documents such as SOPs for life-sciences companies.
The Navigator answers questions from the effective version and runs offline inside the plant.
The rules it respects
This is not a validated system. A pilot runs with your validation partner under 21 CFR Part 11 or EU GMP Annex 11 where they apply.
What our tests measured
How we testThese figures come from test runs on Google's Gemini (gemini-3.5-flash-lite), a hosted model, on synthetic data. We'll add runs on a local model.
- Run on 14 October 2026
- Model: gemini:gemini-3.5-flash-lite
- 254 examples
For your engineers
- Engines
- Gatekeeper, Proof Console
- Sealed mode
- Test passed: with sealed mode on, it refuses every outbound connection except to the model you've approved.
